Welcome to Strong Tower Ministries

Our name, “Strong Tower Ministries” reflects a sense of the Lord being our protector and shield in times of fear. Everyone who ran to the Lord for safety in times of danger and gets salvation through His name.

Proverbs 18:10 “The name of the Lord is a strong Tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.”

Jina letu ni “Strong Tower Ministries” inatuonyesha jinzi Mungu wetu ni mlinzi na kinga wa maisha yetu wakati wa mashaka. Mtu yeyote anaweza kukimbilia  Yesu wakati wa dhiki na kupata usalama na wokovu.

Our Vision

To provide a place for worship for immigrants and refugees, equip them to be followers of Jesus Christ using His Word, grow them according to the doctrinal standard of the Church order of the Christian Reformed Church in North America.

Kutoa pahali pa kumwabudu Mungu kwa wale wote waliohamia hapa, kuwatayarisha kumfuata yesu Christo katika neno lake, kuwasaidia kukua katika neno katika kiwango cha mafundisho la Christian Reformed Church hapa Marekani.

Our Program (Programu yetu)

▪      Sunday Bilingual Worship Service:

-        (Swahili and English) from 10:30a.m – 12:30 p.m. We provide mobility to and from to the place of worship for those without transportation.

-       (Ibaada yetu inaanza saa 10:30am-12:30pm kwa lugha mbili: Swahili na kingereza. Tunapeana usafiri kwa wale hawana usafiri kanisani).

▪      Sunday School (Programu ya Watoto): - 10:00am – 12:30 pm.

▪      Youth Program (Programu ya vijana): - Every Wednesday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm tutoring English classes and school homework (kila siku ya tatu kwanzia saa 6:00pm-8:00pm)

▪      Adults English program (Programu ya kingereza kwa watu wazima) Every Saturday from 2:00pm-4:00pm (kila siku ya posho, jumamosi kwanzia saa 2:00pm-4:00pm.

▪      Weekly Prayers (Maobi ya wiki): - Saturday from 4:00pm- 5:00 pm (siku ya posho saa 4:00pm-5:00pm)

▪      Food Pantry (Chakula): - Every two weeks on Sunday at 1:00pm-2:00pm (siku ya Mungu baada ya wiki mbili).

▪      Home based Bible Study & Discipleship (Mafundisho ya Biblia nyumbani): - Every month (mara moja kwa mwezi)

▪     We provide basic skills in computer operations and how to adjust to the local culture and guiter (Tunapeana mafundisho ya Komputa na Muziki)

Wednesday Evening Classes: Computer basic skills, Guitar, and school assignments tutoring
